One tool, two clearly separated views

Build for the owner. Present for the customer.

Internal review

Check cost recovery, required price, operating margin, confidence, structural warnings, and average-sale scenarios.

Customer output

Show package outcomes, services, vehicle prices, condition policies, add-ons, maintenance information, and inspection notices.

Coaching

Use the 100-point Package Set Strength score to find unclear tiers, weak progression, pricing gaps, and missing policies.

Private, browser-only planning workspace

Build a package set customers can understand

Organize scope, check internal economics, and produce customer-ready package copy without an account or data storage.

Step 1 · Offer

Choose the package structure

Start with how customers should compare the offer. You can still edit every package.

Number of packages
Recommended starting point

Three tiers work well when each step adds a clear outcome or scope difference. One or two packages are better when the services are genuinely alternatives.

Step 1 of 8

No login. No email gate. No database. No API. No browser storage. Refreshing or closing this page clears every package, price, and note.

Methodology

Start with customer decisions, then prove the economics.

  1. Choose a package structure that matches genuinely different customer outcomes.
  2. Assign price-free service scope before writing marketing language.
  3. Review explicit vehicle-tier prices and a condition basis.
  4. Confirm cost, overhead, owner compensation, percentage costs, and target margin internally.
  5. Add only compatible add-ons and maintenance rules with measurable economics.
  6. Review customer output separately so internal data cannot leak.

Good / Better / Best

Value progression should be visible, not implied.

A higher comparable tier should normally retain what came before and add a meaningful outcome, service, preparation step, protection step, or convenience. Packages that solve different problems—such as an interior restoration and an exterior enhancement—should be labeled as alternatives rather than forced into a false ladder.

Pricing and condition

A displayed price needs a defined vehicle and condition basis.

The tool uses explicit reviewed vehicle-tier prices. Heavy condition can use a starting price, range, added scope, or revised quote. Severe condition requires inspection guidance. Potentially unsafe or biohazard work never receives routine final pricing.

Profit and owner compensation are not the same thing.

Owner production compensation belongs in the cost of delivering the service. Operating profit remains only after direct cost, allocated overhead, and percentage selling costs are recovered.

Package Set Strength

A structure score with hard safety caps.

The score evaluates pricing logic, separation, progression, clarity, differentiation, vehicle consistency, condition policy, add-on strategy, and readability. It does not grade branding, aesthetics, demand, competitor performance, or conversion likelihood. False savings, routine below-break-even pricing, unsafe fixed pricing, invalid formulas, missing services, or internal-data exposure cap the score at 54.

Estimated Average Sale

Test a package mix without pretending to forecast demand.

The planning model combines owner-entered package mix and vehicle mix independently, then adds eligible add-on attachment. It reports average ticket, gross profit, operating profit, and owner economic earnings when the required inputs exist. No universal mix is supplied.

Common questions

Package-building questions

How many detailing packages should I offer?

Use the fewest packages needed to make meaningful choices clear. One flagship package can work for a focused offer; two can separate essential and premium outcomes; three can support a clear good, better, best progression; four should be reserved for genuinely distinct scope.

Should higher detailing tiers include everything below them?

Comparable higher tiers normally retain lower-tier scope. If packages solve different problems, label them as alternatives so customers do not mistake the difference for missing value.

How should I price packages for different vehicle sizes?

Review an explicit price for every active package and vehicle tier. Consolidate customer-visible classes when that improves clarity, but keep internal assumptions complete and avoid one universal size multiplier.

Can I advertise package savings?

Only when every component is separately available, the standalone prices are current, the scope is equivalent, and the package price is genuinely lower. Otherwise treat the comparison as an internal package difference.

Does the builder store my package names or prices?

No. Version 1 keeps the project only in active browser memory. It uses no account, database, API, local storage, session storage, cookies, or URL parameters for builder values.
